Who am I?
My name is Jonas Anders. I’m currently studying game programming at TGA but in my free time I enjoy bouldering, swimming, badminton and of course playing games, both video games and board games. Some of my favorites are
Terraria, Balatro, Stardew Valley and Tetris for video games and when it comes to board games I love, Love letter, Small World and Ascension
How did I end up here?
My game developer journey started when I was thinking of what secondary school I wanted to apply to. I found LBS Kreativa Gymnasiet and their game programmer course. I ended up falling in love with the feeling of making something that I can share with friends, family and the world. The inevitable problems that come up during development become fun challenges and puzzles to solve and serve as my biggest outlet of my creativity.
After my time at LBS I knew I wanted to continue with game development and had heard about TGA from friends. But I decided to take a year off from school to try something else. I ended up working as a youth recreation leader where I spent a lot of time with students, planning and leading activities such as sports tournaments and even a game development crash course.
I got into TGA with the start of the term and have enjoyed every second of it.
